Brand Book

Brand book, also known as a brand guidelines manual or brand identity guide, is a document that organises and systematises the principles for applying a brand’s visual identity — including its logo and all graphic elements that define it. Its primary purpose is to ensure visual consistency across all communication materials — from print and digital media to outdoor signage and packaging design. As part of developing a brand book, we prepare a comprehensive set of guidelines covering the logo’s construction, its primary and alternative versions, colour palettes in various systems (CMYK, RGB, Pantone, HEX), and the brand’s typography, specifying primary and secondary typefaces. The document also defines the clear space and minimum size requirements to ensure legibility, as well as the rules for scaling the logo. Additionally, it includes detailed instructions on how the logo should be used across different backgrounds and contexts, outlining potential design errors and prohibited applications. Each brand book is created with the individual needs of the brand in mind — its values, industry characteristics, and the intended scope of use for its visual materials. The process is carried out in close collaboration with the client, taking into account the communication strategy and any existing graphic assets. Our brand books are developed based on extensive experience gained through projects for cultural institutions, publishers, and private companies such as ART Bookstore, Leroy Merlin, and Desa Locum, where particular emphasis was placed on formal, aesthetic, and functional coherence. The brand book we create serves as both a design and operational tool, enabling conscious management of visual identity in a manner that is consistent, aesthetically refined, and true to the brand’s core principles.
